Abstract

The results of comparative analysis of diagnostic approach to examine pregnant women with hypertension in Penza in 2005–2006 and 2009–2010 show that doctors often face difficulties when diagnosing hypertension in pregnant women. From a number of instrumental methods of examination of pregnant women with hypertension the clinicians seldom use 24-hours monitoring of blood pressure, whereas the control of blood pressure by this method associates with lesser quantity of complication of pregnancy, labor course and unfavorable perinatal outcomes.
